SYMPTOMS
The Microsoft Office Live Communications Server service stops responding on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based computer.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the real-time communications (RTC) service occasionally causes a deadlock in the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service.
