MORE INFORMATION

Windows Media Connect is software that lets you stream digital media files on your computer to digital media receivers (DMRs), such as an Xbox 360 console, that are connected to your home network.

Although Windows Media Connect does support video playback, the Xbox 360 console does not currently support Video playback by using Windows Media Connect. However, the Xbox 360 console does support video playback when connected to a Microsoft Windows XP Media Center 2005-based PC. With Windows Media Center 2005, you can stream audio and video, pause live TV, and watch recorded TV shows.
