SYMPTOMS

You create an application group in the following location of the Authorization Manager console:

Store_name\Application_name\Scope_name\Groups

You create this application group on a domain controller computer that is running Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1. The next time that you start the Authorization Manager console, you cannot find this application group. In this scenario, if you try to create the same application group again, you receive the following error message:

A group with the name application_group_name already exists. Specify a different name.

Note In this Authorization Manager console location, Store_name represents the store name, Application_name represents the application name, and Scope_name represents the scope name. In this error message, application_group_name represents the application group name.
