- Microsoft Host Integration Server 2004 Standard Edition
SYMPTOMS
You use the SNACFG command to update a 3270 print session or an Advanced Program-to-Program Communications (APPC) print session in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2004. After you do this, error messages that resemble the following may be logged in the Application log:
Event 1
Event 2
Note These error messages are logged if the Drwtsn32.exe program is configured as the computer’s default debugger.
When this problem occurs, the print session is not updated with the configuration information that is specified in the SNACFG command.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Snacfg.exe file tries to validate every available print session parameter, even when the SNACFG command does not include all the parameters. The application error occurs during the validation of the missing print session parameters.
