SYMPTOMS
When you try to install an Itanium-based version of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 that is slipstreamed with Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the installation may fail. Setup stops responding.
RESOLUTION
Service pack information

To resolve this problem, replace the Setupldr.efi file in your slipstream installation source with the Setupldr.efi file version that is in this hotfix.
