SUMMARY

When you enter the wrong Microsoft Windows Live ID credentials multiple times, you receive the following error message:

There is a problem with the credentials you are using to sign in. To correct the problem, go to www.login.live.com.

Note Your Windows Live ID credentials are the e-mail address and the password that you use to sign in to Windows Live ID sites.

Note You cannot change your Windows Live ID password from the Xbox 360 dashboard.

To change your Windows Live ID password, follow these steps:

1. Visit http://login.live.com to change the password.
2. Click Sign In to sign in to your account.
3. After you sign in, click Change, next to your password.
4. Follow the instructions to change your password.
