INTRODUCTION
This article describes the Outlook 2002 issue that is fixed in the Outlook 2002 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package that is dated August 30, 2005.
Issues that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- In Outlook 2002, when you open a forwarded e-mail message that contains an attachment, you cannot see the attachment. This issue may occur when the following conditions are true:
- The e-mail message is in the HTML message format.
- The e-mail message contains embedded images.

- The optimized version and the full-file version of this hotfix is a post-Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) hotfix. To install the hotfix, you must have Office XP SP3 installed.
