SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You connect a device that is running Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 to a computer that is running Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7 on Microsoft Windows XP. You try to copy a large file from the device to the computer. The file is 10 megabytes (MB) or larger. In this scenario, a time-out occurs, and the file is not copied from the device to the computer.

Note This problem only occurs when you use a device that is based on the Samsung S3C2410 microprocessor.

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previous updates for this product are also installed.

Restart requirement

After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole operating system. To clean the operating system, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the operating system, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
