This article describes the Microsoft Excel 2002 issue that is fixed in the Excel 2002 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package that was initially released August 9, 2005, and then rereleased on September 6, 2005.
Issues that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- Assume a situation where you use the AutoComplete feature with the Input Method Editor 2000 (IME) in Microsoft Excel 2002. Then, you run a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro.
In this situation, you receive the following error message if the VBA macro does certain worksheet manipulations:Examples of worksheet manipulations include moving data, copying data, or making the worksheet visible.
