SYMPTOMS
When you try to play back many video files by using a Microsoft DirectShow-based media application on a device that is running Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2, the application may unexpectedly quit. This problem may occur if you use a Microsoft DirectX API-based application that you have written to play back many video files in succession.

Prerequisites
This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been applied.
Restart requirement
After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
