SYMPTOMS
The Remote Procedure Call service (Rpcss.exe) frequently stops responding when COM+ applications are running on a server that is running Microsoft Windows 2000.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a race condition in the Rpcss.exe file when COM+ rundown routines are running.
