SYMPTOMS

After you use the Patch Installation Agent (PatchInstall.exe) that is included with Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you discover that the Patch Installation Agent does not populate the TimeAuthorized value in the Win32_PatchState and Win32_PatchState_Extended classes.

Note The TimeAuthorized value indicates the date and time at which the administrator authorizes the software update.
