Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

  • When you insert a bitmap image that contains a foreground image and a background image, the background image may be split and rotated.
  • When you print a document that contains a grayscale image to a color printer, the image may not print. This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
    • The printer is set to print the document in color.
    • You set a color to be transparent in the image.
  • When you insert a .tif image in a document, a blank picture frame may appear in the document instead of the .tif image. This problem may occur if the .tif image contains a CMYK profile.
