The issue that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- When you run a program in the background to add contacts in Outlook 2003, the mouse pointer moves slowly. Or, the mouse pointer may be unresponsive. Additionally, the mouse pointer changes to an hourglass icon and then changes back to a pointer.
This issue occurs when you use the Microsoft Business Solutions Customer Relationship Management (CRM) version 2.0 API to create a program. You run this program in the background to add a contact that has a telephone number. The contact is added in the background by using the Outlook Object Model.
