SUMMARY
This article lists the Microsoft COM+ bugs that are fixed in the Microsoft Windows XP Post-Service Pack 2 (SP2) COM+ hotfix rollup package 10. Each package contains all the fixes that were released in the previous Windows XP Post-Service Pack 2 (SP2) COM+ hotfix rollup packages.
Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package
The following issues are fixed in this hotfix package:
- If you call the Dispose method on a serviced component when the component is in a transaction state, a ComException (CONTEXT_E_ABORTING) exception is thrown. When this problem occurs, you receive the following error message:
- Support has been added to extend the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) service to include the Webservice Atomic Transaction (WS-AT) protocol if Indigo is installed on the computer.
- Changes in COM+ have been made to support Indigo integration.
