SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, you may experience a 10-second delay by the file receive adapter when the adapter polls files from file receive locations. This delay may negatively affect the performance and latency of your solution.
RESOLUTION

Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 service pack that contains this hotfix.
