Issue that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

  • Consider the following scenario. You have two or more windows open in PowerPoint 2002. For example, you open a PowerPoint 2002 presentation, and then you run the slide show. Then, you press ALT+TAB to switch back to the presentation. If you press CTRL+F4 to close the presentation, a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro that uses the PresentationClose event does not run when the presentation closes.

Note This issue does not occur if you click Close on the File menu.
