SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the HTTP adapter (Microsoft.Biztalk.HttpTransport.dll) incorrectly converts the whole ContentType header to lowercase characters. The characters that the adapter incorrectly converts include the information that appears in quoted-string parameters. Therefore, the BizTalk 2004 HTTP adapter does not comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) "SOAP Messages with Attachments" specification.
The W3C "SOAP Messages with Attachments" specification requires the MIME boundary parameter to be case-sensitive. For more information about this specification, visit the following Web site:
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a problem in the HTTP adapter code that was introduced in BizTalk Server 2004 SP1.
Note This problem does not occur with the BizTalk Server 2004 HTTP adapter that is included in the original release version of BizTalk Server 2004.
