SYMPTOMS
The Advanced Stream Redirector (ASX) file does not start, and only a black screen appears. If you click Pause, you receive the following error message:
This problem occurs in Microsoft Windows CE 5.0.
CAUSE
A deadlock condition occurs in the preroll thread when the preroll thread runs out of data. This problem occurs before the preroll thread fills the preroll buffer.

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.
Restart requirement
After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
