SYMPTOMS
After you install Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 1 (11.1.0), you may receive the following error message when you use Office programs:
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Move the PDFMaker files to the Trash
- In the Finder, locate the following files, and then move them to the Trash:
Hard disk: Applications: Microsoft Office 2004: Office: Startup: Word: PDFMaker.dot
Hard disk: Applications: Microsoft Office 2004: Office: Startup: Excel: PDFMaker.xla
Hard disk: Applications: Microsoft Office 2004: Office: Startup: PowerPoint: PDFMaker.ppa
- Restart your computer.
Method 2: Reinstall Office 2004 for Mac
- Remove Office 2004 for Mac from your computer by using the Remove Office tool. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
