SYMPTOMS

A Microsoft Windows 2000-based or Microsoft Windows XP-based client computer is connected to a domain controller over a slow link. In this scenario, the Group Policy scripts are executed even though the client-side extension is configured not to run over a slow link.

Note By default, the client-side extension is configured not to run over a slow link.
