SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 may not detect that a file was modified by an external application. Additionally, Visual Studio .NET 2003 may not prompt you to reload the file.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
