Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

  • Every time that you open an Office XP document that adds a custom toolbar to an Office XP program, the file that stores the information for custom toolbars grows.

For example, a Microsoft Word 2002 document adds a toolbar. This causes the Normal.dot file for Word 2002 to grow every time that the document is opened.
