SYMPTOMS
When you use a Rule Shape in an orchestration in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, the orchestration is suspended and is marked as “not resumable” when your Microsoft SQL Server-based cluster fails over. This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You run orchestrations with rules.
- Your RulesEngine database is located on a clustered instance of SQL Server 2000.
- The instance of SQL Server fails over.

To apply this hotfix, you must have BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed on your computer.
