Issue that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- In large drawings, the magnification level that you can zoom in to is limited
When you work with large drawings in Visio 2003, you find that the magnification level that you can zoom in to is limited. For example, if your drawing is more than 340 inches wide or more than 340 inches long, you cannot increase the magnification level to 100 percent or more.
This limitation was present in earlier versions of Visio to support Microsoft Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI) on computers that are running Microsoft Windows 98.

For example, you may experience a decrease in performance when you zoom the drawing to 400 percent.
