Excel: Example for NAMES() Function Returns #VALUE!

SUMMARY

Page 283 of the "Microsoft Excel Function Reference," version 4.0 contains the following example. This example is incorrect.


   NAMES(3,"P*") 



MORE INFORMATION

The example given in the manual returns a #VALUE!. The corrected line should read:


   NAMES(,3,"P*") 



The leading comma is necessary unless a document name is specified.
