SYMPTOMS
When a Terminal Server desktop application uses a serial port that is re-directed from a Microsoft Windows CE .NET-based Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client, the application cannot receive data. Calls to the Win32 WaitCommEvent function do not indicate that data has been received from a serial device.

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.
Restart requirement
After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole operating system. To perform a clean build of the operating system, follow these steps:
- On the Build menu, click Clean.
- On the Build menu, click Build Platform.
You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
