SYMPTOMS
When you use the file adapter to receive messages that are larger than 100 KB in an orchestration, Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 may stop responding. You do not receive an error message.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the BizTalkMsgBoxDb.dbo.Parts table has a key lock that prevents the messages from being processed. This problem may occur when a transaction that is associated with a particular system process ID (SPID) is blocked by an orphan distributed transaction.
RESOLUTION
