SYMPTOMS
When you try to install Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac Version 7, it is not installed, and you do not receive an error message. Additionally, the Install Virtual PC icon for the Virtual PC Setup program is displayed as a generic Apple bundle icon, not as an executable program icon.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you try to install Virtual PC for Mac Version 7 on a computer that is running Mac OS X 10.1.x
or earlier versions. Virtual PC for Mac Version 7 is not compatible with these versions of Mac OS X. You must use Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later versions.
