SYMPTOMS
The cost data that appears on the Project Center page of Microsoft Project Web Access is more than the cost data that appears in the 'Tasks: cost' view in Microsoft Project Server 2002.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when all the following conditions are true:
- The cost data contains rounded decimal values.
- Your Microsoft Windows Regional Options are set to German.

How to obtain the hotfix
This issue is fixed in the Microsoft Project Server 2002 post-Service Pack 1 Hotfix Package that is dated September 28, 2004. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Important After you apply this hotfix, the problem that was described in the "Symptoms" section is fixed for new project plans. To resolve this problem for existing project plans and to update the cost data, open the plan in Project 2002. Then, republish the project plan to your computer that is running Project Server 2002.
