SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 to configure the Wrap segments property of the EDI Adapter send port, the Wrap segments property may be ignored when documents are serialized for the send port.

Note Because of file dependencies, the most recent hotfix that contains these files may also contain additional files.

Note After you download the 197347_ENU_i386_zip hotfix file, follow these steps to install the hotfix:

In the location where you have downloaded the hotfix, double-click 197347_ENU_i386_zip to extract the files to the folder that you want.
Open the folder that you extracted the files to, and then double-click setup.exe to install the hotfix.
In the folder that you extracted the .zip files to, manually copy the Genins.exe file to the following folder:

Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004\EDI\Subsystem
In the folder that you extracted the .zip files to, manually copy the UpdateEDI.bat file and the UpdateEDI.sql file from the extracted package location to the following folder:

Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004\EDI\Adapter\Bin\Config
Double-click the UpdateEDI.bat file that is in the following folder to run the batch file:

Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004\EDI\Adapter\Bin\Config\

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was corrected in BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1.
