Issues that are fixed by the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package, but it was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

  • When you try to send a Microsoft Excel 2002 document or a Microsoft Word 2002 document to a routing recipient, Excel 2002 or Word 2002 may stop responding, and an instance of Microsoft Outlook 2002 may appear on the task bar. If you try to maximize Outlook 2002 from the task bar, nothing occurs.

This issue may occur on a multi-monitor computer where Excel 2002 or Word 2002 is running on the secondary monitor.
