SYMPTOMS

You try to use the mixerGetDevCaps API to discover an audio device for a Remote Desktop Connection that connects to a Terminal Services session on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer. The mixerGetDevCaps function discovers both the client audio device and the Remote Desktop Connection audio device at the same time during the Terminal Services session.
