SYMPTOMS
The IRequestDictionary->get_Item() method may fail with the COR_E_SERIALIZATION exception in the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. This problem may occur if a Web site is put under stress.
CAUSE
This problem may occur because of actions such as adding cookies.
RESOLUTION
The fix for this problem is contained in the hotfix for the following article:
