Hotfix file installation steps
To install this hotfix, follow these steps:
- Obtain and extract the hotfix that is described in this article.
- Double-click the Office2003-kb867815-glb.exe file.
- Click Yes to accept the license agreement.
- Type the location where you want to extract the hotfix file.
Note You can click Browse to select the location where you want to extract the hotfix file.
- Click OK.
- In Windows Explorer, copy or move the Pptview.exe file from the location where you extracted the hotfix file in step 4 to one of the following locations:
- If you have PowerPoint 2003 installed, copy or move the Pptview.exe file to the folder where PowerPoint 2003 is installed, such as C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11.
- If you do not have PowerPoint 2003 installed, copy or move the Pptview.exe file to the folder where PowerPoint 2003 Viewer is installed, such as C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\PowerPoint Viewer.
- Click Yes to confirm the file replacement.
