SYMPTOMS

When a Macintosh computer that is running Mac OS 8, Mac OS 9, or Mac OS X accesses the shared files on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, the Windows 2000-based computer may stop responding (hang) and therefore does not accept any new connections.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the Sfmatalk.sys process does not release the spinlock before the spinlock is reacquired.
