SYMPTOMS

You create a Web page that uses the following anchor tag code. This code uses the shortcut key code "accesskey".

<A href="function()" accesskey="X">
           Anchor_Text (X) </A>

When you or a visitor to your Web page presses ALT+X, the focus does not move to the anchor object in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

RESOLUTION

This issue is fixed in Internet Explorer update rollup 871260. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
