Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package
The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package, but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- After you save a Visio 2003 drawing that contains digitally signed macros with a new file name and then make changes to the drawing, you may receive a message that informs you that you do not have the correct key to sign the project. This issue may occur if all the following conditions are true:
- Your macro security level on the Security Level tab in Visio 2003 is set to High.
To view your macro security level in Visio 2003, point to Macros on the Tools menu, click Security, and then click the Security Level tab. - A document recovery file has been saved by Visio 2003.
To turn on the "Save AutoRecover info everyx
minutes" feature, follow these steps:- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- On the Save tab, click to select the Save AutoRecover info every
x
minutes check box. - Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
- You try to save your changes to the Visio 2003 drawing.
If you close and then reopen the drawing, you cannot run a macro because the macro digital signature was removed and your macro security level is set to High.
- Your macro security level on the Security Level tab in Visio 2003 is set to High.
