FIX: Memory usage increases when you use CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or audio CD discs in Windows CE .NET 4.2

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2, system memory may be consumed when you work with CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or audio CD discs. Memory usage for the Universal Disc File System (UDFS) driver may increase every time that media is removed or when file listing information is read from audio CD (CDDA) media.

RESOLUTION

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
