APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2
SYMPTOMS
A device may be configured to synchronize to a security-enhanced server by using ActiveSync mobile synchronization. The security-enhanced server uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection. However, the device may stop connecting to the security-enhanced server after a number of connections are made. The device must be reset to resume the ActiveSync mobile synchronization connections.
CAUSE
Device memory that is allocated during a connection to the security-enhanced server by using ActiveSync mobile synchronization is not freed. Over time, there is less available memory. This causes new connections to fail.
