The Information Store service crashes when it tries to verify that a user is in the access control list member ID table

SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service (Store.exe) crashes unexpectedly on your Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if an error occurs when the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service tries to verify that a user is in the access control list (ACL) member ID table for a specific folder.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the August 2004 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 update rollup.
