SYMPTOMS
On a heavily loaded Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer, the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Provider Host program (Wmiprvse.exe) may crash.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the computer experiences a low-memory condition. When the computer experiences a low-memory condition, memory corruption may occur in the private heap of the Fastprox.dll file. These random heap corruptions in the Fastprox.dll file may cause the Wmiprvse.exe program to crash.
RESOLUTION
