SUMMARY

This article describes how to associate or how to change a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services Web site for a Microsoft Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals document.

MORE INFORMATION

An Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals document is associated with the original Windows SharePoint Services Web site where it was created. However, you may have to change the location of your Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals document for a variety of reasons; such as moving the document as part of a workflow for the proposal, or because the server name or the site path has to change.

Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals uses a custom document property (SiteUrl) to associate the document with the Windows SharePoint Services Web site. If you change that property, Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals will look to the new URL to provide the list of users and permissions for your Accelerator for Proposals document.

To change the Windows SharePoint Services Web site that an Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals document is associated with, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Windows SharePoint Services Web site that contains your Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals documents.
  2. Edit the document in Microsoft Office Word 2003.
  3. After the document is open in Word 2003, on the File menu, click Properties.
  4. On the Custom tab, select SiteUrl in the Properties list box.
  5. In the Value box, type the URL that you want your Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals document to be associated with--for example, type http://servername/ProposalsHome/Proposals.
  6. Click OK to close the Properties dialog box.
