SYMPTOMS
If you use the License Binary Image command to stamp the Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.1 binary (NK.bin) with a runtime image product key, you receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Windows CE .NET 4.1 runtime licenses that were purchased after January 1, 2004 cannot correctly validate the product key to complete the License Binary Image command.
RESOLUTION
Note This hotfix does not address issues that may occur if you enter product keys that are not valid.
