SYMPTOMS
When you turn on the Scavenge stale resource records option for a primary DNS lookup zone on your Microsoft Windows 2000 DNS server, the The zone becomes available for scavenging at box displays an incorrect value.
For example, if you select the Scavenge stale resource records check box in the Zone Aging/Scavenging Properties dialog box, the The zone becomes available for scavenging at box displays a value that is similar to 1/8/1601 8:00:00 AM.
