SYMPTOMS
When you try to link to an application or to a DLL, and the application or the DLL has more than 32,767 exports, you receive the following error message:
This problem does not occur in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
