SYMPTOMS
The handle count for a process that uses Microsoft Message Queuing 3.0 in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 may increase significantly, and the system may stop responding.
CAUSE
Diagnostic tracing is initialized at the beginning of the DllMain function in both the Mqrt.dll file and the Mqsec.dll file. This problem occurs if the DllMain function fails for any reason.
RESOLUTION
