SYMPTOMS

When you try to run Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Setup unattended, the installation is completed, but your computer may not be able to join your Microsoft Active Directory directory service domain.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you added the following Group Policy setting to your Active Directory domain:

LAN Manager Authentication Level: Send NTLMv2 response only\refuse LM & NTLM


RESOLUTION
