BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet Incorrectly Puts an Empty Element in the Service Header

SYMPTOMS

If you send an acknowledgement message to your trading partner by using Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet version 2.0, the message may be rejected.

CAUSE

This problem might occur because the acknowledgement message contains an empty partnerDefinedPIPPayloadBindingId.ProprietaryReferenceIdentifier element.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
