SYMPTOMS

When a default document for a Web application contains a query string, any additional query strings that are appended to a request for the default document are lost. For example, if you specify a default document as "default.asp?myVal=true" in a Web application named Test, and you request http://myweb/test/?xtraQryString=%22Hello World," the value xtraQryString="Hello World" is lost.
